The News Management System takes the strain out of keeping your audience interested and informed.

Articles are easy to add and update. Summaries of the latest content are automatically created and are displayed in chronological order on dedicated News pages.

Articles may also be tagged and filtered using custom URLs, so you may link to a news page showing only summaries of articles tagged as "Headlines" for example.

The included widget lets you embed summaries of the latest articles, and filter them by tags, anywhere on the site. So you can display the latest four headlines on your homepage or the latest six special offers in a sidebar for example.

RSS feeds are automatically managed so that your users may subscribe to the latest updates and link back to your site.

Summaries of your latest news may also be automatically tweeted; keeping your social network informed and linked them back to your site.

Administration

News is managed in line - much the same as other pages - but has a streamlined publishing workflow to support the rapid turnaround of content.

The News Editor role lets you delegate the management of articles without opening other site administration functions - so your PR agency could edit your news but wouldn't have access to other site content for example.
